Telecare

Telecare is a means by which care and support can be provided to people with or without other services, through telecommunication and technologies in the home.

It is becoming an increasingly important element of care packages for people with support needs. Telecare typically employs sensors and automated devices that enable the well-being of an individual to be monitored remotely and contributes to people's health, mobility, social well-being and security.
